PAEEK (Greek: ΠΑΕΕΚ; Podosfairiki
Athlitiki Enosi Eparxeias Kerynias = "Football and sport union of
Kyrenia District") is a Cypriot sports club founded in Kyrenia in 1953
by graduates of Kyrenia Gymnasium and represented the first force to be
reckoned from the small city. It now plays in exile in Nicosia since
the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in July 1974.
